Mark your calendars for Saint Adalbert Basilica's Chinese Auction on Saturday June 5, 2010 after 4:00 pm Mass.
A lot of prizes to win (Toasters, mixers, pottery, jewelry, etc.)...free Admission.
Menu: BBQ Hamburgers, hot dogs, beverages and dessert.
Saint Adalbert's is still accepting new prizes for this event. They can be dropped off at church on Saturdays after Mass, during rectory hours, or call 692-0585.
St. Adalbert Basilica will host its parish May Crowning on Saturday,
May 15th.
After 4 P.M. Mass, this year’s First Communion class will lead the
procession to the Grotto of the Immaculate Conception adjacent to the
Basilica for the crowning.
Constructed around 1901, the grotto is a close replica of the one in
Lourdes, France, even containing similar rocks.
All are welcome as St. Adalbert’s honors the mother of Jesus with
song and prayer.
Potluck Supper On Ascension Thursday, May 13, 2010, Mass in the Basilica at 6:00 p.m. followed by a pot-luck supper in the lower parish hall located in bottom of the Response to Love Center.All are invited!

The Rev. Thaddeus Bocianowski, of St. Adalbert Basilica, blessed both trees and volunteers, who assembled across Stanislaus from the church. Participants included volunteers from the Lombard Street Block Club and Keep Western New York Beautiful.
